This is my second purchase of the PUR dispenser. I cracked my first one by accident. The water tastes great and it fits great in my frige without taking up a lot of room. The filters aren't that bad of a price either so I must say I am pleased with this product in every way. May 8, 2012

Exellent dispenser I've gotten over 40 gallons of fresh drinking water on 1 filter. Please don't purchase the Pur water filter that attaches to the faucet. I had to return it and received my money back from the company. The filters are the worst. I only was able to fill up glasses of water for only 2-3 weeks before the filter red light went on. Indicating the filter was contaminated. I tried at least 4 filters. And called the company. All they did was apologize and offer me another filter. Until I asked for my money back. The dispenser works excellent. September 5, 2011

Pur 18-Cup Dispenser Water Filtration System with 2-Stage Filter Directions

Easy Set-Up:

1. Soak new filter in cold water for 15 minutes.

2. Flush filter by running under cold water for 10 seconds. Allow excess water to drain from filter.

3. Insert filter and align pegs on the filter with the grooves in the blue tray.

4. Twist the filter clock-wise to seal the filter in the blue tray.

Note: It is not unusual for carbon dust to be in your first 1 or 2 pitchers of filtered water. Carbon fines are harmless.

Filters up to 40 Gallons/151 Liters (1-2 months). Replace your filter every 1-2 months Use the PUR Filter life calendar cling inside as a helpful reminder. If your water contains high levels of sediment, the life of your filter can be reduced.

Warnings

The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users' water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
