Redmond RealSalt Nature's First Sea Salt™ Kosher Salt -- 16 oz
Great-quality salt; packaging could use some work
I know my husband doesn't like it quite as much as the more-refined, name-brand kosher salt we usually buy at the supermarket, but the flavor and quality of RealSalt is far superior. It is much "saltier" in general and, due to the varied, pinkish hue, makes me feel as though I'm eating something pure. My only qualms with this product would be that the salt can be very hard and isn't really meant to be sprinkled on top of things, as much as mixed in or dissolved, and the packaging. While it's resealable, it's hard to apply the salt to dishes without first transferring it to a measuring spoon or cup, as it pours out too quickly. This is not a issue uniquely true of RealSalt, but could be improved. Also, it would be great if the company could avoid the use of plastic in its packaging.

delicious and healthful
Not all sea salt is healthy. Many are chemically rinsed and bleached. Stick with what nature created in an ancient sea bed in Utah. Mineral rich and without any additives or chemical processing. Truly, REAL salt.

I did not know there is such a difference between salts. This salt is "saltier" than regular, so you can use less. Makes food tastier, I can't explain how. Salt lasts longer since I use less.

Must-have kitchen staple
This is probably the healthiest salt you can use - not processed, with all the minerals left intact. Beautifully colored, by nature.
