Favorite This is our favorite Tamari. We aren't gluten intolerant or anything but just think that for the true rich and traditional flavor Tamari should be only Soy .... this is and it is great. March 12, 2013

Delicious, versatile! I love this gluten free tamari sauce. I use it primarily to marinate chicken and salmon with grated fresh garlic, olive oil, orange juice, pepper and fresh minced garlic. I have also used it over rice and the taste is delicious! The best part? It is a product certified by the NON GMO (genetiocally modified) project. This is especially important to me for about 91 percent of U.S. soybean production is GMO, not something I want my family to consume. December 2, 2011

San-J Organic Tamari contains no wheat and has a richer, smoother, more complex taste than ordinary soy sauce.

Tamari has more flavor enhancing properties than salt. Add 1 tsp. (233 mg sodium) instead of 1/4 tsp. salt (590 mg sodium) to reduce sodium intake.

Stir-fry or marinate vegetables, fish, poultry and meat. Add 1-2 tsp. to perk up sauces, soups, gravies and casseroles.
