| Description: Menthol is the primary component of the essential oil of Peppermint (29 to 48 percent). It has a strong scent, and is often used to help clear congested sinus cavities. A menthol rub used on the chest can help ease breathing. A mouthwash made from Sage oil, Peppermint oil, menthol, chamomile tincture, echinacea, Myrrh tincture, clove oil, and caraway seed has been shown effective in treating gingivitis.1 Useful in treatment of: Congestion, gingivitis.
