Phosphatidyl Choline
Description: Phosphatidyl Choline is a purified extract from lecithin. It accounts for about 10 to 20% of lecithin. It supplies choline to the body. Choline is needed for cell membranes and to facilitate the movement of fats through cells.
Phosphatidyl Choline and Pantothenic Acid are used together by the body to for acetylcholine.
Supplementation of Phosphatidyl Choline is usually not necessary.
Phosphatidyl Choline taken in amounts of 4 grams twice or three times daily has been shown to help in the case of panic attacks.
Liver damage signs appear reduced in hepatitis B patients who take Phosphatidyl Choline supplements. Three grams daily appears an effective dose.

Natural Sources: Egg Yolks, Meats.

Useful in treatment of: anxiety, hepatitis.

Recommended Dosage: Up to 4 grams three times daily.

Contraindications: Large doses may cause nausea or diarrhea.
