Sage
Description: Sage (Salvia officinalis) is most commonly used as a kitchen herb, especially for flavoring poultry. It is also effective as a medicinal product.
Sage helps to reduce excessive perspiration, and can ease the pain of sore throats.
A mouthwash made from sage oil, Peppermint oil, Menthol, chamomile tincture, echinacea, Myrrh tincture, clove oil, and caraway seed has been shown effective in treating gingivitis.

Toothpaste containing sage oil, Peppermint oil, chamomile tincture, echinacea, and Myrrh tincture is also effect, especially when accompanied by the mouthwash mentioned above.

Sage appears to reduce sweating caused by menopause.

Useful in treatment of: gingivitis, menopause.

Recommended Dosage: 1 cup tea, twice daily.

Contraindications: pregnancy and Post Partum: sage can cause breastmilk to production to decrease or stop.
