| Description: Silicon is a trace mineral that is believed to be needed in the making and maintaining of connective tissue. It is also found in bone areas that are undergoing mineralization. Silicon1 may be helpful in the treatment of osteoporosis. The herb Horsetail is rich in silicon. Natural Sources: Beer, Root Vegetables, and Whole Grains. Useful in treatment of: osteoporosis.
