Wormwood
Description: Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) has long been used as a treatment for stomach and gallbladder disorders. It is commonly used to treat digestion problems, stimulate appetite, and protect against stomach worms.
The leaves are made into a tea which is taken several times daily.
Wormwood’s bitter components stimulate digestive function.

When combined, Peppermint, Fennel, caraway, and wormwood appear to have a soothing effect on the intestines.

Useful in treatment of: indigestion and heartburn, Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Recommended Dosage: 1 oz dried leaves in 10 oz water. Take 30 to 60 minutes after eating.

Contraindications: Not for long-term use. Should not be taken during pregnancy.
