• Add a handful of cooked wheat berries to bread doughs for texture and nutty flavor.
• Toss a handful of cooked wheat berries into green salads or marinade first.
• Combine cooked wheat berries and black beans. Add sauteed onions and garlic. Season with soy sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
To Cook: Sort, rinse and add 1 part of grain to 4 parts of boiling water. Simmer until tender, about 2-5 hours.
(To cut down on cooking time, pre-soak wheat berries overnight).
Best if kept in cool, dry area.
