To Cook: Sort and rinse 1 cup quinoa and drain. Add 1 cup quinoa to 2 cups water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Simmer for about 15 minutes
Cooking tip: The nutty flavor and aroma of Quinoa is enhanced by toasting lightly in a hot, dry skillet for about 5 minutes, before cooking.
Suggested uses: Makes a wonderful substitute for rice in many recipes. Seasoned Quinoa also makes a delicious stuffing.
