One starch only! The best out there GF mix that only has 1 starch - usually they all have more than 3 in them..... Starch is also readily available sugar for your blood. So GF is not always all that healthy if it is packed with starches...... I always look for the healthier version for my family when i need a short cut. I do mix my own pancake mixes but every now and then I also need something ready to use that's why This IS a Staple in my house February 27, 2013

Simply Organic Pancake and Waffle Mix Directions

You will need: 1 cup pancake mix. 1 large egg. 2/3 cup milk.

Lightly grease skillet or griddle. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat, or preheat griddle to 350F.
Combine 1 cup mix with egg and milk. Stir batter with a whisk or fork, just until moist. Any small lumps in batter will disappear during cooking.
Pour batter onto the hot skillet or griddle using 1/4 cup measuring cup.
Flip pancakes (only once) when they're puffed, bubbled and slightly dry around the edges. Cook the second side until it is golden brown.

Makes about 6 pancakes. Depends on size of pancake. Pouch contains approximately 3 cups mix.
