Good cal-mag citrate I like this cal-mag because its citrate and has some added herbs without all the preservatives. November 6, 2012

Good balanced formula The vitamin consultants at the health food store informed me this formula has most everything needed to help assimilate calcium, and as the 2:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium is the most balanced for assimilation as well. This formula has some vitamin D-2 (synthetic) in it, but not enough for most people. I take natural D-3 supplements in addition to this formula and have my D checked periodically when I do labs, and to keep in the desired healthy "D" zone. Great calcium product though and will continue to purchase from Vitacost. May 23, 2011

The Calcium and Magnesium in this product are chemically bonded with natural citric acid to form Calcium Citrate and Magnesium Citrate. Vitamin D has also been added to enhance absorption and utilization of Calcium by the body. A special base of herbs has been included for additional nutritive support.
