Cognitive and many other benefits; a gem
With expanded research into herbs and supplements, this longtime herbal remedy has become overlooked; indeed I did not discover its benefits until finding it in a list of remedies for night sweats, which I began getting as a side effect of taking bacopa at night. Research is beginning to confirm many of sage's traditional uses, and it is getting more attention now for its cognitive and memory benefits, but it has much to offer for perimenopause, gentle detoxification and blood sugar as well. Despite being a basic and inexpensive herb, it's oddly hard to find in capsule form, so perhaps the new research will increase demand and ensure a more consistent supply. Solaray Organic Sage is a good for of the product at a reasonable price.
