Very mild flavor
If you want to get cod liver oil down without the gag reflex, this is the product for you. Very mild flavor & if you take it at night before going to bed, no burp issues.

great
I purchased this as an ingredient in the WAPF baby formula recipe. It meets the strict requirements of the recipe and I trust it to feed my baby. I bought an extra bottle for the rest of us. It's not as awful tasting as I imagined, but I do shudder a bit when I take it. My two and a half year old asks for "medicine" every time she sees the bottle and she takes it without any problem. Don't assume your kids won't take this, especially if you start young. This product is a good alternative to the very pricy products, and I feel it is just as good.

Better than the Rest! Pure with more vitamins.
We have tried 3 other Cod Liver Oils...all very popular names and this one above all is the absolute best! We love everything about it like that it is not De-Stearinated (Fat not Removed), wheat free, and has more EPA, DHA and vitamin A than Premier Quantum Norwegian Cod Liver Oil which is recommended in books wriiten by Dr. Price. It has the real taste of Cod Liver Oil without any sugars to hide it so be prepared. I mix it with my kids vitamins and they gulp it down real quick. This is the only CLO we will buy from now on.

Best Cod Liver!
In my search for Cod Liver Oil, I started reading the ingredients in the oil. Ingredients in Cod Liver Oil....?!?........should be just the oil, right? Nope! This is one of very few that I found that actually didn't have anything added. Any oil with flavors was sure to have additional ingredients. This CLO certainly did not disappoint either. Two in our family have skin problems and even with fall/winter (drier air) starting to slowly set in, the problems are getting better! I'd definitely recommend this oil if you can't quite make up your mind which to buy.

Best Quality for Your Money
According to Weston A Price Foundation, The ration of vit A to vit D should be no more than 10 IU of vit A to 1 IU vit D which this one provides. Many brands of Cod Liver Oil remove vitamin D during processing. If you can not afford W.A.P. Foundation's other pricy recommendation of fermented Cod Liver Oil (which cost 6 times more than Sonne's and Vitcost doesnt carry it) then they suggest using this one. I do not like the taste of this fishy oil and stopped taking it but found the others not to be as good. I will be returning to this brand.
