Great in Smoothies and as a Glycemic Index Reducer
To keep my smoothies from getting runny as the ice-cubes melt in the mix, I use 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of this quality guar gum to maintain decent thickness and texture and reduce the glycemic index of the smoothie.
Also, anytime I want to reduce the glycemic load of a food or dessert I am preparing I add 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons of guar gum to it.

You get twice the benefit from this fiber...moves through the intestines without irritation, AND you get two of the eight "essential" glyconutrients into your diet. I like to take it at night before bedtime with plenty of water. It also helps move the junk out of your lymph glands that line your intestines...be prepared for some possible odd symptoms until the junk gets "flushed" out of your body. I sometimes take an acidophilus/probiotic with the fiber.
