My Beef With It Some of the individual ingredients in this concotion are fantastic. However, the gama amino-butyric acid and all components that facilitate its production are undesirable. GABA is a neurotransmiter used to inhibit electrical signal between neurons and frankly it has a calming effect. However, one who wants a nootropical kick from this pill probably could do without it. In many cases, GABA has been shown to reduce IQ. I have settled for buying many of the individual ingredients as some of them together seem to have a reverse-synergistic effect. September 9, 2007
