Source Naturals Melatonin Sublingual Peppermint -- 1 mg - 300 Tablets
My husband and I both take melatonin at night to help with sleep. This Source Naturals brand from Vitacost is a great deal.

Really helps with sleep.
Both my husband and I have tried other versions of Melatonin and find this one to work the best. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it's sublingual, meaning it gets absorbed more quickly. And even a quarter or half is often helpful, which just seems to aid in falling and/or staying asleep.
If we get up in the middle of the night, maybe another quarter or half helps again.

Works for me
I use just before retiring and I am asleep before it is disolved. I like the one mg as I use more than one at a time but can vary the amount I take depending on my needs.

STILL WORKS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS BUT...
One of these yummy tablets under the tongue almost knocks me out in half an hour. I use one around 9pm. I fall right to sleep. This does not mean, however, that I'll sleep 8 hours straight. Sometimes I do but not always. Im not very groggy the next morning, either . All I need is one milligram. I tried the orange flavored ones once and they didn't work. Strange.

Good sublingual form
I love the sublingual tablet as far as flavor and disolving are concerned but the 1mg was not strong enough for me. I have used melatonin 3 mg for years with success but recently read that melatonin supplements should be low with 1 mg being a good place to start. I started with 1 mg and ended up going up to 2 mg and when I was still not sleeping I went back to a 3 mg tablet (not sublingual) which worked great.
