Better than alpha lipoic acid
I much prefer this "r" form of lipoic acid. There doesn't seem to be the same side effects I'd had with alpha lipoic acid such as foot swelling in both feet (did anyone else get that strange reaction from regular alpha lipoic acid?). I take mine with vitamins B6, B12 and biotin with good results FYI.

Source Naturals R-Lipoic Acid is a natural form of lipoic acid that your body can synthesize and safely metabolize.
