Very light weight and easy to handle and put in car. Works well with seat belts.

Excellent for small dogs
Use this to take my little dog to Grandma's to visit. She sleeps in it, and we even put it in the back seat on the way home to keep her from roaming in the car.
It's a little tricky to close back up into it's circular container, but once you get the knack it's a piece of cake to get it into a small circle and put in the plastic carrying case. Less than the size of a dinner plate when stored.
