disappointment
I'm very disappointed with the quality. Starwest Botancial usually has very good stuff but not this one. The powder is yellow and taste sour. I know the alfafa leaf has a pleasant leafy taste but not sour. I don't recommand it at all

Canary food
i originally bought this to naturally supplement my canary's food because powder works best. but i eat it too now. great in lima beans n smoothies. spooned dry powder anything can cause lung problems for you and/or your birds if you breath it in accidently. but alfalfa leaf powder (not leaf) sticks well to seeds when previously stirring in 2 drops of wheatgerm oil (vit-E) n sometimes 1 drop of cod liver oil (vit-D,A) per ounce of seeds is done. in case your wondering, 1/2 tsp per 4 oz of seeds. 1/8 tsp brewer's yeast is good when adding protien. check with your avian vet first tho.
