Better Buy than Bags
When I first tried this herb, I didn't like the taste. I love the bag version which is roasted and has a great smokey flavor like coffee. I decided to roast this loose tea in my Turbo Oven clone convection oven (if you don't have this type of oven, you've got to get one, Great alternative to the microwave). The taste of the tea improved dramatically, tasted exactly like the bag version if not better. You roast it longer if you want a stronger tea. Buying the tea loose and roasting it myself has saved me a ton of money. I also reuse the loose granuals several times (at least 3x) by using a tea basket and running hot water through it.

Have bought several times to use as a tea. Good quality and such a great price compared to the stuff that comes in a tea bag.

Love Starwest Botanicals
I have always bought Starwest Botanicals' products when I purchase dried herbs or spices.
Their products are organic and are very fresh. I am happy to see Vitacost adding more and more of their bulk herbs and spices to their line. I have purchased many of them.
