Excellent nettle leaf Unlike other reviewers, I've never had trouble with this product. Each bag I've ordered over the past few years is sweet, fresh smelling and wonderful. January 16, 2013
yuck I too am used to Frontier's nettles, which are delicious and savory. These Starwest nettles seem to be mostly stems, and have an awful flavor. I can't drink these, and I am so disappointed :( May 29, 2012
Great product a lot of health benefits. April 22, 2012
Unusually Bad Tasting for Nettle I usually drink nettle tea every day that I buy from our co-op. I bought this because I thought it would be cheaper, but this nettle tastes VERY different in a bad way from any nettle I've had before... it tasted almost mildewy but I don't think it was mildewy, I think it's just a different variety perhaps? I honestly am puzzled by it. I ended up composting this because I couldn't stand to drink it... but others may not mind the taste. It may be personal preference. September 29, 2011
Ooops The nettle should be loose and taste similar to mint tea, it comes out in clumps and is rancid smelling. I cannot drink it like I did Fronteir's. July 27, 2010
