Not good for low carb
Unfortunately, from what I've read about maltitol, it is not a good sugar substitute. It is just one "level" below table sugar on the glycemic index. If you are diabetic, you might want to check your blood sugar after eating anything sweetened with maltitol. If just low carb eating, choose another alternative sweetener--a combination is best, such as erythritol, stevia, sucralose...

sweet crystals
i made peanut butter cookies and they turned out really good
even my hubsand loved them and he dosn't like to much of the sugar free things that i have to eat,next am going to make the sugar cookies next.
try it and you will really be glad you did.
