These delicate, shade-dried leaves from China's Fujian Province are naturally high in antioxidants. Egyptian chamomile petals and Chinese osomanthus flowers add a fragrant, toasty, creamy and slightly sweet bloom of flavor.
This small batch of tea was personally crafted for you by Steven Smith, teamaker. Bai Mu Dan, or White Peony tea, originates in China and offers a lovely introduction to the sweet and subtle taste of white tea. We add Chinese osmanthus - most commonly used in fragrances - and the white petals of Egyptian chamomile flowers for an uncommonly soft and fragrant bouquet. A tea with the characteristics of a well made pinot blanc.
