Taste of Gluten Free Cake Mix Fig Description
Gluten Free Fig Cake Mix that tasted great and is easy to bake. Loaded with healthy ingredients such as Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Tapioca Starch, Xanthan Gum, Cultured Dry Buttermilk, Egg Replacer, Cinnamon.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Outline the Bottom of three 8" inch cake pans with parchment paper (Can also be made in a 11" x 17" pan)
Grease pan and paper
Using an electric mixer, mix the following:
1¼ cup Canola Oil
1 teaspoon pure Vanilla Extract
¾ cup of Water together
Add dry ingredients, mix well
Add 1 cup Fig Preserves = 11½ ounces
1 cup of toasted Pecan Pieces (optional)
Mix well. Divide batter equally among 3 prepared pans • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool layers on wire rack for 15 or 30 minutes • Loosen layers by gently running knife around edge and underneath as much as possible. Turnover on plate or wire rack. Spread frosting between layers and over assembled cake.
Combine 8 ounces Cream Cheese • ¼ cup Butter softened • 1 teaspoon pure Vanilla Extract until smooth • Add 1 pound Confectioners' Sugar and beat high speed until fluffy
