The heat of Vindaloo is brief and pleasant without burning, followed by spice, salt and sweet.
The rule of thumb starting point is 2-3 Tbs per "normal recipe."
Combine with sauted onion, 1 lb meat, 2 Tbs vinegar, 1 can of coconut milk and simmer covered until meat is tender
Use as a dry rub prior to grilling, pan frying, roasting or broiling
Mix into ground meats
Add to soups, stews and pulses
