Tera's Whey Organic Whey Protein Bourbon Vanilla -- 12 oz
Loyal to this product as I've been searching for an organic whey product that taste good. I like that it only has simple ingredients and know each one. I normally shake it up with milk or put into smoothies.

Better than the rest, but...
There are amazingly few organic whey products what are just whey, plus perhaps a slight flavoring. While Tera's Whey is the best of the bunch so far, it's a little bit thick and gummy compared to the old Designer Whey (which seems to have been bought out by Chemicals Incorporated - what a long list of artificial junk).
The vanilla flavor is pleasant, the sweetness slight, and not overwhelming, it dissolves well in hot liquid, and compared to how thick and gummy other brands were, it's pretty good. Since I dissolve it in 16 ounces of latte, it really shouldn't be thick at all.
So unless something better turns up, I'll stick with Tera's Whey.

I have used protein powders for years and this is the best. Love that it is also from grass fed cows, humanely treated and whole food fed. No sugar too. Highly recommend. I use it for one meal a day to maintain healthy weight or lose a bit of weight.

not in cooked grains
I like to put protein powder in my hot cereals and grains in the morning for a boost of protein and to keep my blood sugar more level. This whey protein powder, as opposed to the Tera's ancient grains powder, clumps up and gets really grainy and is not too tasty in my oatmeal. I usually use quick oats and two scoops of the powder, and when I tried it with this whey powder instead it was a no-go.
This is probably good in smoothies.

Outstanding flavor and texture
I have tried a few different types of protein powders out there, in an effort to avoid dairy at all costs, thinking that whey wasn't ok for me. This included pea protein which was just plain gross. I work at a locally owned grocery cooperative in Wisconsin, and we carry this line of products. So, not only because it's a local product, but it's just a high quality, good tasting product! When mixed in a smoothie, it gives that little bit of creamy mouth feel as if you used full fat milk, or cream in the smoothy which tastes good all the way around when you are trying to cut out sugar, carbs and processed anything. The protein content is high also. Highly recommend this to everyone!
