Thai Kitchen Stir Fry Rice Noodles Thai Peanut Description
Roasted peanuts and mild spices blended into a smooth sauce are one of the most delicious flavor combinations Thai food has to offer. We've combined this wonderful peanut taste with other authentic spices and 100% rice noodles for a truly memorable, easy-to-make noodle dish.
Recommended Recipe: 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil, 4 oz. cut chicken, shrimp, vegetables or tofu, 1/4 cup water, 1/2 cup fresh bean sprouts. Optional: Crushed peanuts, lime wedges, fresh chilies and cilantro. Recipe Time (15 minutes): Step 1: In a medium saucepan, boil 3 cups of water. Turn off heat and soak noodles in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes, until soft but firm. Drain well and rinse with cold water for 30 seconds. Set aside. Step 2: In a wok or large frying pan, heat vegetable oil. Add chicken, shrimp, vegetables or tofu and stir-fry until cooked. Step 3: Add softened noodles, seasoning and water. Stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until noodles become tender and sauce is absorbed into the noodles. (If noodles are still too firm, add 1 tsp. of water as needed and continue to stir-fry until tender.) Add bean sprouts and mix well to combine. Sprinkle with additional peanuts and garnish with lime wedges, chilies and cilantro If desired. Serves 1 or 2.
