The Mate Factor Yerba Mate Organic Chai Loose Herb Tea -- 12 oz
Healthy and Yummy!
My son came home from Argentina with a new herbal tea called Yerba Mate. I noticed immediate health benefits, so I went to my favorite online health-food store to see if they carried it. Mate Factor's Chai became our immediate favorite. Yerba Mate has 196 nutrients, gives a calm energy, and has the highest usable form of magnesium of any plant on the earth. AND it tastes fantastic. I drink it iced all day long - and sometimes warm up with a cozy cup of hot mate. I can't say enough about Yerba Mate.

Too strong for me
I agree with the other reviewer that while I usually like Chai blends of all kinds, this one is out of balance with the spices (too much clove?) and I find it quite bitter, not full bodied. Even when I mix it with a plain Maté, the flavor doesn't suit me. And the price. I have an expensive bag which I cannot drink. To each his own, I see that others do enjoy it.
I love the Dark Roast by this company but won't experiment with 12 oz bags of new flavors again, maybe a few teabags to make sure I will enjoy before investing.

This stuff tastes great.
When I first bought this I had seen good reviews on it. The first time I used it I brewed it with an automatic drip coffee maker. Now I have an espresso machine and it works even better with this tea. I make the chai tea latte as the instructions on the package suggest. I use vanilla flavored almond milk and froth it with the frothing arm of the espresso machine. This is great stuff.

This product allowed me to go cold turkey/coffee free with out any side effects, withdraw and I never looked back.....
I prefer the loose leaf to the bags and steep it in my French press....Add some raw honey, coconut oil and almond milk and zip it in the blender....it tastes just like a chai latte......
Happiness in a cup!!!!

My favorite tea!
I am not a coffee drinker. Tea is my thing and when I tasted this tea, I knew it would be the first of many cups to come! I prefer loose tea because I can make it as strong (or weak) as I wish. If you like chai tea, I highly recommend this one.
