Tiger Tiger Puppodums are made to a traditional recipe and will increase in size when fried. Serve as an anytime snack, or with Tiger Tiger pickles as a starter to your Indian meal.
To Deep fry:
Heat 5 cm (2½") oil in a large frying pan or wok, until very hot (200 C). Helpful Hint: Drop a piece of puppodum into the hot oil, if the oil is hot enough the puppodum piece should immediately start to bubble and expand.
Deep fry each puppodum, hold beneath the oil with a fork or spatula until the puppodum has increased in size and cooked for 2 to 3 seconds.
Life the puppodum from the hot oil, drain and stand upright on kitchen paper. Allow to cool and crispen.
Lightly brush the puppodum on both sides with vegetable oil.
Place the puppodum in your microwave, cover with kitchen paper and cook on high power for approximately 45 seconds, until the puppodum has expanded. All microwaves differ, you may need to cook slightly longer or shorter than stated above.
Once this pack has been opened please store uncooked puppodums in a dry airtight container.
