Tender & Delicious! This brown rice penne are so tender - not tough like whole wheat pasta and even some regular pasta. I think they are even more tender than regular pasta and more delicious. Tinkyada brown rice penne pasta has a light taste that doesn't overwhelm the dish - this pasta brings out the herbs and spices in the sauce! Excellent! Highly recommend! AWESOME!!!!! I am a full blooded Italian who absolutely loves her pasta, but unfortunately my granddaughter is wheat intolerant so I had to find another kind that fits the bill...and this product does that 10 fold.....you can not go wrong with this pasta....but the one thing I did notice is that I don't boil it as long as the instructions state, it is ready in 3 to 4 minutes sooner for our taste:-) Thank you Vitacost for offering this product......... & please never get rid of it....... STOVE-TOP COOKING INSTRUCTION: Put one package of pasta into 4 quarts (3.78 liters) of boiling water and add a tablespoon of salt (do not add salt if on a sodium-free diet). Stir occasionally and cook for 11-13 minutes until desired tenderness is reached. Rinse with cold water. Drain well. If stir-fry, rid surface moisture and let rest for 5-10 minutes for best results. Can be served hot or warm with any kind of pasta sauce or in your favorite pasta recipes, in hot soup, in salad, stir-fried, or as a casserole. Use it as you would any regular pasta.

QUICK & ENERGY-SAVING COOKING: Cook 1 to 2 minutes in boiling water. Switch off stove. Cover pot for about 20 minutes.
