Excellent at its intended purpose It is the only floss I buy anymore. I stock up on it when my supply gets low and I find a sale. This wide floss removes ALL food remnants in between the teeth and gums. I attribute my perfect dental check-ups to this TOM flat floss. The spearmint flavor is mild. October 23, 2012

Best floss ever There is no comparison to this great product. The skinny slippery kind you buy and get from your dentist just slides between your teeth and does so little. Tom's FLAT, NOT ROUND, floss gets the job done. I missed my last 2 cleanings but went recently and they said my teeth and gums looked great and told me to keep doing whatever I was doing! And I owe it to this floss, using it especially/always before bedtime. (I got Tom's round floss because they were out of the flat, and that was a mistake..it worked better than regular floss but not nearly as effective). It costs a bit more, but on Vitacost, you save so much. For approx. $2 a month which is how long a unit lasts...it is so worth it! October 7, 2012

Tom's of Maine Antiplaque Flat Floss Waxed Spearmint Directions

Grasp about 18" of floss between thumb and fingers of both hands. Gently work between each tooth to just below the gum line. Never snap the floss into the gums. Gently draw plaque away by sliding the taut floss against the surface of the tooth.

Ingredients: Beeswax (beeshives), carnauba wax (brazilian wax palm tree), spearmint oil, jojoba wax (jojoba plant), acacia (tree resin), myrrh (resin from the myrrh bush) and propolis (mixture of tree resin gathered by bees).
