"Paradoxically, this toothpaste seemed to make my teeth MORE sensitive! Go figure. Plus, it has sodium lauryl sulfate (though so does my preferred brand, Nature's Gate) and the tubes are simply too difficult to squeeze or to roll up. The price is right, but it did not work for me."

Tom's of Maine Sensitive Toothpaste Wintermint Directions

Uses: Builds increasing protection against painful sensitivity of the teeth to cold, heat, acids, sweets, or contact.

Adults and children 12 years of age and older apply at least a 1-inch strip of this product onto a soft bristle toothbrush. Brush teeth thoroughly for 1-minute twice a day (morning and evening), or as recommended by a dentist or physician. Make sure to brush all sensitive areas of the teeth. Children under 12 years of age: Consult a dentist or physician.

Ingredients: Active Ingredient: Potassium nitrate 5%
Inactive Ingredients: Sorbitol, water, hydrated silica, xylitol, glycerin, organic Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, Gaultheria procumbens (wintergreen) leaf oil and other natural flavors, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, xanthan gum, titanium dioxide.

Warnings

When using this product, do not use longer than 4 weeks unless recommended by a dentist or physician. Stop use and ask a dentist if the problem persists or worsens. Sensitive teeth may indicate a serious problem that may need prompt care by a dentist. Keep out of reach of children.
