This is not a screening kit for diseases such as HIV, Chlamydia, Herpes, Gonorrhea, Syphilis or Group B Streptococcus. Several factors can cause an elevated pH and the Kit should therefore not be used under the following circumstances: if you are pregnant, menopausal, nursing, currently having your period/5 days after your period is over, had sexual intercourse or douched in the last 48 hours, used an internal vaginal cream in the last 72 hours.
