A nutrient dense, whole maca root extract, Vega Maca concentrates active micronutrients via gelatinization—a proprietary heating process that improves absorption by removing the starch from the root.
A cruciferous root vegetable grown in the extreme climate of the Andean mountain plateaus in Peru, maca has been used as a food and tonic for thousands of years. Widely known as Peruvian ginseng, ancient Peruvians believed maca increased energy and stamina, improved fertility, and enhanced libido.
