causes heartburn
This product caused me to have awful heartburn! Even when I took it with food still had discomfort.....I probably will not purchase again for that reason

It is the right ratiao
I even got in to a talk with one of my DR`s about this and he said that was the right ratiao of things that help my PN. I was talking much more and then found the Vitacost brand and have been talking it for all most a year. I shop around and I buy from a few companies. One good thing I found for me is that when I used to take ALA straight I had to be eating and take it in the middle of the meal. But for some reason when the ALA is mixed with the lL-Carnitine its not so tough on the gut. So I can`t find that right combanation of the two any where else.

Change In Formulation
This used to be a white powder, and it used to be my favorite supplement. Like very few other supplements it gave me energy without a later letdown. The new formulation is a yellow powder. It doesn't do it for me. I think i will throw these bottles away and try another make.

A staple in my supplement regime.
I have been taking this product for several years, and while I can't point to this product specifically as the reason for my excellent health, I do feel it contributes greatly to my energy levels and my overall well-being. It is a primary staple in my regular supplement regime and it will stay up there as a "must take" daily.
It was on the list of "top 10" amino acids and hormones in the book, "The Perfect 10" by Michael Aziz, MD, which I highly recommend for those interested in optimizing their health and longevity.
