What is apple pectin?
Apple pectin, obtained from the skin and pulp of fresh apples, is a water-soluble fiber that transforms into a gel-like substance when mixed with water. When consumed, it acts as a bulking agent, encouraging fullness and slowing the rate of digestion as material moves through the digestive tract.

Great fiber supplement
I tried this fiber supplement because it was one of the only options that was gluten and soy free that I could find. I am very pleased with it and am starting to order it regularly.

At first I was worried about how large the capsules are (compared to other supplements I take they are huge), but they have been working good for both my husband and me. No weird taste or smell to them either.
