Vitacost Certified Organic Pure Matcha Green Tea Powder - Non-GMO -- 1.75 oz (50 g)
There are two kinds of matcha.
Culinary, which is more brown than green. Significantly less expensive. Usually comes in larger packages, 8 to 10 ounces. You bake with it, make smoothies or ice cream with it.
Then there's the kind you drink. Which comes in tiny tins and is very expensive.
I gave this three stars because it doesn't specify that it's culinary matcha. Brownish. More bitter. Fine for baking and for smoothies. but not for drinking.

Just received the Matcha green tea powder and I'm enjoying it with a spoon of the Vitacost raw honey crystals in a cup of hot water - Excellent taste!

Horrible. Can barely choke it down :(
I have to put a lot of coca powder and stevia in it just to choke it down. It's not bright green, as I believe that Matcha is supposed to be, and don't notice any caffeine bump at all.

At least it's GMO and green
I can't really recommend this green tea. It's certified GMO and makes a matcha tea that's a pretty color. However, it does not have the fragrant, plesant, fresh taste i was expecting. I will try to finish it for the health benefits and to not waste it, but won't repurchase.
