Vitacost D-Mannose with CranForte® Description
Standardized cranberry extract promotes bladder and urinary tract health.*
What is Vitacost D-Mannose?
Vitacost D-Mannose is a combination formula supplying 1,000 mg of D-mannose, 400 mg of standardized cranberry extract and 30 mg of vitamin C per 2-capsule serving.
D-Mannose is a naturally occurring simple sugar that is closely related to glucose. Scientific evidence suggests d-mannose may play an important role in maintaining the health of bladder cells.*
Cranberries are a deep-red, tart-tasting fruit native to North America and commonly grown throughout the northeastern U.S. in wet, sandy marshes or bogs. Antioxidant phytochemicals, including anthocyanins (the natural pigment responsible for the red and blue color of many fruits and flowers) and proanthocyanidins, can be found in cranberries.
How does Vitacost D-Mannose support health?
Scientists have been studying the use of cranberry preparations to promote bladder and urinary tract health since the 1920s.*
