Vitacost KidHealth Potent Probiotic with Organic Prebiotics Powder Banana -- 5 billion CFU(t) (60 Servings) - 2 oz (57 g)
I bought this for daughters ages 5 and 9. I did a home test and it's active probiotics but my girls don't like the taste. We tried it in almond milk, regular milk and in juice nothing made it taste good to them. Other kids may very well like it. I'm going to try something else next time around until I find something they like.

I would not recomend this
I ordered this because I wanted my 4 year old to benefit from the larger quantity probiotics. Unfortunately my son hates it. It doesn't mix well, wont desolve in water, or anything for that matter so 1/2 of it ends up getting dumped when you wash out the cup. My son is autistic so the mere texture, like sand, mixed in yogurt or juice makes him gag. Its not very effective if I can't get him to take it.

Mixes very nicely with my kids' morning shakes
I mix 1/4 teaspoon of this powder into my kids morning breakfast essentials shake. They can't taste the difference since the banana flavor complements it very well (mix it in a blender cup because just stirring in with a spoon will leave lumps). I have been giving my kids probiotics for a while now and this is so far my favorite, second in line is the vitacost chewable probiotic tablets. Since taking probiotics my kids don't suffer from constipation, bloating or diarrhea. I am a big believer in probiotics. But not all probiotics are created equal...and this powder is top ranking in my books.
