Thick Casing Beware these are a great suppliment for kids, but the casing on the ones that I received was quite thick and hard to dissolve. The older kids didn't have a problem, but the younger ones did. Other than that they were good taste. March 26, 2013

Great supplement for kids! My 10 yr old son stopped eating fish for the obvious reasons (it's healthy so it doesn't taste good anymore!) So I give him these Omega Fishies. He swallows them instead of chewing them. I take fish oil and krill oil myself so I know the importance of these supplements. Vitacost always has the best quality and price. Younger children seem to like it (2 and 4) Our two youngest children really liked this product; they are four and under. One of the older children was indifferent to the softgel and the other two older children squirted the contents into a small amount of juice or other flavored drink saying they preferred doing it that way. These were a pretty good price for a softgel but it is still expensive in this form versus the straight liquid. These chewables are also shaped like little fishies so their appearance was also appealing to the children. January 17, 2013
