Vitacost Stevia Powder -- 45 mg - 5.2 oz (150 g)
I was previously using Stevia in the Raw until I researched more about "other" sugars being added to the formula as a filler. This stevia is absolutely pure and 600x sweeter than normal sugar so you need very little for teas/coffees/sprinkled on fruits if you want.. only 1/4 tsp which is way less than I would need from 1-2 tsp of stevia in the raw. It's a little on the pricey side but totally worth it. I don't experience the after taste that some customers complain of, but I've also been using stevia for years now.

Works the same as many other stevia products without the added expense.

I bought this when Vitacost was having a sale on their products, buy one and get one for half price. Good deal!

I use just a little bit on my Tea. Gives it just enough sweetness for my taste. Very good product! Will order again , when I run out.

Vitacost Stevia 45 mg
I bought this product thinking it was pure Stevia. I just looked at the label and it has Erythritol. I did some research on it. Not good! Erythritol is a naturally-occurring substance found in many fruits; however since it is present in such small amounts (less than .005% by weight) it is impractical to produce erythritol commercially simply by obtaining it through natural sources.
I don't know how Vitacost's Stevia product is manufactured but Cargill manufactures Truvia’s erythritol by processing corn into a food grade starch which is then fermented with yeast to create glucose and then processed further to create erythritol.
I have two containers and they are going in the trash.
