broken capsules turned me off I normally like Vitacost brand products, so I decided to try their Omega 3 Ultra Pure. The first bottle I got, there were a couple of broken capsules inside that made the bottle stink fishy like crazy when I opened it up. I finally emptied the bottle, tried cleaning off the good capsules and put them in a different bottle. I ordered again, saying this was a fluke--it can happen to anybody (even though I have take fish oils for years other brands and have NEVER had that problem. Anyway I ordered again, and it was the same thing. The bottle reeks with fish odor, and when I take the capsule, then my hand stinks like fish and I have to go wash my hands to be able to enjoy my meal. I finally just threw the bottle away. I'm changing my brand. Twice is too coincidental. May 17, 2013

great deal I was using Carlson's Professional Strength Fish Oil for years and not only is it so expensive, but they don't tell you the source of their fish oil. So, I decided to purchase 2 of these bottles because they were so cheap and the bottle states where they get their fish oil from. I don't know how else to rate a vitamin, but I don't see anything wrong with these October 7, 2012

Great Product, Excellent Value I decided to give the vitacost Omega-3 a try after taking Nordic Naturals for over a year. I was hesitant because I'd heard horror stories of fishy burps and side effects from other brands; however, I'm pleased to share that I have not had any adverse effects from Vitacost's Omega-3 and they are a great value in my opinion.
