Good price but... I tried this only because the 2 lb. Source Naturals was out of stock. This is a good deal. But be prepared, it is VERY sweet. Way too sweet for me. I can't wait for the 2 lb. Source Naturals to come back in stock. It's really chalky plain so I'm hoping if I mix the two together it will be just perfect. April 27, 2013

Aquired taste I guess... I have been using an unflavored brown rice protein in smoothies for several months and decided to try this version with vanilla flavoring added. I thought the vanilla had a chemical taste to it, not the way vanilla should taste. I do like the Vitacost vanilla pea protein, although I do not know if the vanilla flavoring is the same in the two products. Otherwise it mixes just like the unflavored version. April 25, 2013

Not so good... The quality of the protein may be high, but this is very hard to drink. Very gritty, chalky texture, and tastes like sweetened cardboard flavored with vanilla. I've tried it mixed with water, milk, and yogurt as drinks and I could barely choke it down. I just tried mixing it with a.m. oatmeal, and couldn't finish the bowl.
