On The Stovetop: Boil 2 cups water in a small saucepan, in a medium saucepan, heat a 1/2 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 cup Quinoa and stir, toasting for 30 seconds. Add boiling water, 1/3 teaspoon salt and stir. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed. Turn off heat and set aside for 5 minutes. Mix gently and serve. Makes 3 serving.
In The Microwave: Heat 2 cups water in microwave until hot. Place 1 cup quinoa mix 1/3 teaspoon salt and 1/2 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil in a microwave safe bowl. Add hot water and stir. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and cook on full power for 13 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes mix gently and serve.
