Avoiding caffeine I used this product in trying to cut/substitute the caffeive in my drinks. Powdered nature of this product makes it difficult to avode drinking some of the actual grass. I liked the effect of this tea and the taste of it. After some period of time got bored with the taste and switched back to other brands that contained caffeine. January 22, 2012

Wisdom Natural Yerba Mate Loose Tea Unsweetened Directions

As a dietary supplement, bring water or milk to a simmer.  Do not boil.  Use one teaspoon per cup (adjust to preference).  Steep for three to five minutes.  Drink hot or iced and flavor with lemon, mint or other herbs.  You can also prepare Yerba Mate in a French press, coffee maker, tea pot or tea ball.
