Ingredients
- 6 large apples
Granola
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup pecans chopped
- 1/4 cup almonds sliced
- 2 Tbsp. sunflower butter
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. coconut oil melted
- Dash of sea salt
Garnish
- 1 tsp. star anise
- Handful of whole cloves
- 1 orange sliced with rind
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Core each apple, leaving small amount of apple at bottom.

In medium bowl, add granola ingredients and mix until well combined.

Spoon mixture into cored apples.

Place apples on baking sheet and garnish with orange slices, cloves and star anise. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until tops are slightly brown and bubbling.
