Matcha Ramen Noodles

This matcha ramen noodles recipe, on the other hand, won’t slow you down. Matcha green tea powder has less than half the amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee, so this dish will power you through the afternoon slump without keeping you awake all night long.

Makes 1-2 servings

Ingredients

1 scoop (2g) matcha green tea powder
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. raw honey
1 Tbsp. coconut aminos
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 pkg. buckwheat ramen noodles
1-2 Tbsp. reserved pasta water

Directions

  1. Cook ramen according to package directions. Reserve 1-2 Tbsp. pasta water.
  2. In bowl, combine matcha, oil, honey, coconut aminos, garlic and black pepper.
  3. Stir sauce into hot ramen noodles and add reserved water.
  4. Serve immediately.
