Almond butter, maple syrup and cocoa powder create a luscious center, with freeze-dried strawberries adding a fruity zing. Coated in chocolate, they’re pure bliss in every bite. Ingredients
- 1/3 cup MaraNatha Creamy Almond Butter
- 1/4 cup Maple Joe Organic Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp. Frontier Co-op Organic Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp. Native Forest Organic Coconut Milk
- 1/3 cup Shiloh Farms Cocoa Powder
- 1 Tbsp. 1-to-1 gluten-free baking flour
- 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries

Instructions

In mixing bowl add almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla and coconut milk. Mix them together until well incorporated.

Add cocoa powder and flour, mixing until combined. Fold in freeze-dried strawberries.

Line sheet pan with parchment paper. Using hands, roll dough into small balls and arrange them on pan. Refrigerate 30 minutes.

In double boiler over medium heat, melt chocolate chips until completely melted and have smooth consistency. (Note: You can also use microwave to melt chocolate chips.)

Dip each truffle in melted chocolate, and place back on baking sheet. Sprinkle on crushed freeze-dried strawberries and coconut flakes.

Refrigerate truffles about 1 hour, or freeze about 30 minutes or until chocolate has hardened fully.

Truffles are best served cold. Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
