Vegan Banana-Nut Protein Power Waffles
Heat waffle maker.
In bowl, use fork to thoroughly mash half the banana. Add protein powder.
In same bowl, prepare waffle mix according to package directions.
Stir in flaxseed, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Cut remaining ripe banana into small chunks. Fold in banana chunks and chopped nuts into waffle mixture.
Transfer batter to waffle maker and prepare waffles as usual (use canola oil spray to prevent sticking if necessary). Top with berries, whipped cream, applesauce and/or maple syrup.
